My Role
I joined Cox Edge in its early stages, working closely with Product Manager Yan Li. My responsibilities included gathering requirements, leading brainstorming sessions, shaping the product concept, and building a scalable design system.
The Problem
Cox Edge invested in multiple third-party products like StackPath, Macrometa, and Hivelocity to enhance its offerings. However, each product had its own UI, design patterns, and workflows, making integration complex. The challenge was to unify these different interfaces into a seamless Cox Edge experience without compromising usability.
Proposed Solution
To ensure consistency, I adapted the UI of these third-party products to align with Cox Edge’s design system. I identified common patterns, restructured navigation, and refined interactions to create a unified and user-friendly experience. The goal was to make the integrations feel native while maintaining the core functionality of each product.
